We’re a diverse group of runners who run most Saturday mornings and would love for you to join us! We have a range of ages, paces, and athletic abilities and backgrounds, but we enjoy running as part of a group.
This group was born on Saturday, August 3, 2024, after Pacers Running Store cancelled the Saturday morning long runs. These runs began nearly 18 years ago by kind people with a love for running and running with other people. In order to keep that same love of running with others alive, the NoVA Rogue Runners were born.
8:00 AM at the Crystal City Water Park PANCAKES!!!! This week we will be running to Eastern Market for pancakes! So bring some cash and your Metro card The water park is located at 1750 Crystal Drive, Arlington, VA 22202 and free parking can be found in the parking garage across the street (1770 Crystal City Drive- Public Parking). Course options from 5.4-15.8 Miles. Course map and directions below. There is an out and back option for those who can’t make it for pancakes.
Please be sure to bring your own hydration and nutrition.
Course directions for 9.2 miles AND pancakes:
– Starting at Crystal City Water Park (across from 1750 Crystal City parking garages) pick up the trail to the Mount Vernon Trail (MVT)
– Head North on the Mt Vernon Trail to 14th Street Bridge
– Cross over bridge and follow Ohio Drive to the Lincoln Memorial
– FOLLOW the Mall toward, and around the Capitol
– EAST on East Capitol toward RFK
– RUN around the front of RFK and back toward the Capitol
– LEFT on 7th. Take 7th to North Carolina Avenue
– You have arrived at your destination. 🙂 Now lets eat!
Pancake Options 🙂
5.4 miles: Follow the course across the bridge, but head straight for the Washington Monument. RIGHT on Independence Ave to 7th Street and North Carolina. Done!
6.7 miles: Follow the course around the Capitol onto East Capitol Street. RIGHT on 7th down to North Carolina. Done!
7.5 miles: Follow the course to the far side of Lincoln Park, back down East Capitol to 7th. LEFT onto 7th to North Carolina. Done!
10.4 miles: Follow the full course, after leaving RFK, run ALL THE WAY BACK to the Capitol. Turn around, head back to 7th, RIGHT on 7th down to North Carolina. Done!
11.4 miles: Follow the course back to RFK, run ALL THE WAY BACK to and AROUND the Capitol, back up to East Capitol Street. RIGHT on 7th to North Carolina. Done!
14 miles: Run to RFK, run back to the Mall and run to the Washington Monument. Head back up Capitol Hill, turn SOUTH onto First St SE, LEFT onto Independence Ave. Follow Independence to Eastern Market, then pancakes.
15.8 Miles: Run to RFK, run back to the Mall and run to the Lincoln Memorial. Head back up Capitol Hill, turn SOUTH onto First St SE, LEFT onto Independence Ave. Follow Independence to Eastern Market, then pancakes.

14.9 miles: Follow the course out to RFK, head back to the Washington Monument, across 14th Street Bridge, over to MVT, back to Crystal City.
13.2 miles: Follow the course to the FAR SIDE of Lincoln Park, head back to the Washington Monument, across 14th Street Bridge, over to MVT, back to Crystal City.
11 miles: Follow the course up Capitol Hill, around the Capitol back onto the Mall, head back to the Washington Monument, across 14th Street Bridge, over to MVT, back to Crystal City.
9.2 miles: Follow the course past the Washington Monument to 7th Street, cross to the other side of the Mall, head back to the Washington Monument, across 14th Street Bridge, over to MVT, back to Crystal City.
7.9 miles: Follow the course to the Washington Monument, RIGHT on 15th Street around the Tidal Basin, across 14th Street Bridge, over to MVT, back to Crystal City.
6.2 miles: Follow the course across the 14th Street Bridge, run COUNTER CLOCKWISE on Hains Point. LEFT on Buckeye Drive, come out of Hains Point , head back to 14th Street Bridge, over to MVT, back to Crystal City.
4 miles: Follow the course out of Crystal City on to the MVT, turn around at Humpback Bridge and come back.
